I wrote a comment at this blog where a Christian pretends there's some debate between science and the magic he believes in.
You wrote "The more fundamental question is whether or not Neo-Darwinism is true. I myself do not think so."
That makes you a science denier.
By the way, biologists virtually always call evolution "evolution". It's very rare they call it anything else. For example Jerry Coyne's masterpiece about evolution is called "why evolution is true" not "why neo-darwinism is true". A book that by the way you need to read and reread until you understand it.
"ID advocates claim that to recognize something as having been designed, it needs to exhibit both complexity and specificity."
I have a big problem with science deniers who dishonestly disguise their childish belief in supernatural magic by calling it another name. If they call magic "design" it's still magic and it's still childish.
Since you're not fooling anyone why not be honest and call magic "magic".
For example:
MAGIC advocates claim that to recognize something as having been MAGICALLY CREATED OUT OF NOTHING, it needs to exhibit both complexity and specificity.
That's dumb but no more dumb than when a different word is substituted for magic.
You wrote "When it comes to the ultimate, vexing questions of origins, life, meaning and purpose, few are as hotly debated as questions about Darwin’s theory of evolution and Intelligent Design theory."
Again, you should be honest and call it Magic theory, or better yet call it Magical Fantasy because magic could never be a scientific theory.
Non-scientists sometimes have a debate between science (also known as reality) and magical fantasies like magical intelligent design creationism, but there is NO debate in the scientific community. If you don't count the uneducated morons who work for Bible colleges and other religious organizations like the Christian Creationist Discovery Institute (which has never discovered anything) then it's fair to say 100% of the world's biologists love evolution and accept evolution as an established truth supported by massive powerful evidence that I doubt you know about.
My point is there is no debate and there hasn't been any debate for more than a century. Evolution is how the world works and your designer's magic wand didn't have anything to do with it. Scientists and other educated people don't debate the truth of evolution for the same reason they don't debate whether or not the earth is flat.
Please consider the obvious fact that your Christian cult was made obsolete in 1859. Today thanks to the amazing new discoveries in molecular biology that Darwin could never have imagined, evolution is stronger than ever and your cult is more ridiculous than ever.
Magic is everything in existence appearing from nothing. The universe had a beginning - that is science, and it must have had a cause - that is reason. The step to the existence of God is merely logic, if nothing else.
ReplyDeleteWatch this video and refute Dr Craigs arguments if you can. But reasonably please; spare us your baseless rants.

"The step to the existence of God is merely logic, if nothing else."
ReplyDeleteThat's your Magic Man of the Gaps. You don't understand so you invoke magic.
"spare us your baseless rants."
Baseless?
Look it Christian tard boy, nobody forced you to come here. Fuck off Christian scum.
Dr. Craig? Your superstitious moron has a Dr. in front of his name. Am I suppose to be impressed?
ReplyDeleteYou are aware that biologists don't stick Dr. in front of their names. They call themselves Jerry Coyne or PZ, not Dr. Coyne and Dr. Myers.
My point is respect must be earned, and your professional idiot isn't going to earn it with his Dr. bullshit.
Grow up or shut up retard. Science doesn't need your god fairy's magic wand.
"refute Dr Craigs arguments if you can."
ReplyDeleteI should refute Craig's childish magic fantasies?
That would be equivalent to refuting a flat-earther.
There's no magic in the universe you stupid piece of shit. Any child could figure that out.
