Worms are more useful than human apes.

On another blog a biologist wrote "Show me a worm, and I'll tell you how grand and majestic a creature it is." which reminded me how much I love worms so I wrote this:

I love worms. I bought a bunch of them for an organic vegetable garden I had when I lived in Chicago. Working in my garden at night I saw two worms making love. I gave them a nudge with my finger and they almost instantly disappeared under my black soil. I had no idea worms could move that fast. Thanks to those worms my tomato plants grew taller than I am (five feet 11 inches). I had to buy new longer stakes for my tomato plants because I underestimated the power of worms.
